LaKesha Johnson’s real estate inspiration came from playing the board game Monopoly, of all things, when she was a kid. As she grew older, her dream of homeownership became even more appealing when she learned its power to create generational wealth. After her first property flip was a success, LaKesha decided she wanted to help others achieve the American dream.
A Los Angeles native, LaKesha has a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. In addition to being a licensed agent, she’s also a Physician Assistant who has practiced medicine since 2007 in the city’s underserved communities. LaKesha’s compassion, kindness, and ability to help people make sound, autonomous decisions resonate with her clients’ real estate needs. She ensures that her clients are heard, acknowledged, and well cared for, so they can be confident in achieving their real estate goals. LaKesha also has a firm grasp on the industry’s business and logistical aspects, thanks to her experience as a hands-on property investor. Her creative eye is a bonus — something her buyers and sellers can tap into for help with visualizing and designing spaces.
LaKesha loves visiting L.A.’s beaches, and beach vacations top her travel list. She also enjoys cooking and shopping — ask her about her extensive shoe collection! Most of all, LaKesha looks forward to family time, especially doting on her young grandson. Volunteering is close to LaKesha’s heart; though Karing Advocates United for Social Equality (KAUSE), she’s donated her time to various nonprofits, such as L.A. Regional Food Bank, Union Rescue Mission, Ronald McDonald House, and Hillsides Orphanage.
